The kids all built a tent together it took up half of our basement and went on forever and ever. They each had their own rooms. Times have changed when I built a tent it was with one blanket and all seven of my siblings would just crown in and giggle.

This is exactly what me and my brothers and sisters did when we were little. We built a tent that filled nearly the whole basement... and like your kids, we each had a section that was our "territory". I think we pretended we were animals and it was our forest or something.
So fun... your kids have a great imagination. And you're a good mom for letting them get out all those blankets!!
